Rationale
This whakatauki is used to highlight the isolation of Māori in the industry and to bring them together.
Rationale
These are the original statements from TRW’s original constitution created in the 1990s. They still have relevance today and form
the basis for TRW initiatives, activities, projects, and work.
Rationale
These interventions help us to deliver on initiatives which arise from our mission statements and allow us the flexibility to take
on further initiatives arising from collaborative partnerships.
Te Rōpū Whakahau consists of two main groups, with Ngā Kaiwhakahau as the executive council representing the membership. Members may also create their own regional associations. These now include Te Tai Tokerau, Te Hikuroa, and Tirohanga-ā-Kaimai.
Ngā Kaiwhakahau is made up of three office holders, Tumuaki (President), Kaiawhina (Secretary) and Kaitiaki Putea (Treasurer),
and no more than seven positions set aside for Kaiwhakahau or councillors.
Ngā Kaiwhakahau meet regularly, six times a year from July through June of the following year.
