Registrations are now open for workshops on Mātauranga Māori Within New Zealand Libraries, developed and offered by Te Rōpū Whakahau to support LIANZA professional development and registration schemes.
The workshop is designed to provide a targeted development opportunity for librarians and information professionals. It is structured on the understanding that mātauranga Māori exists in the wider context of tikanga and te reo Māori and the content is underpinned by a kaupapa Māori philosophy where traditional Māori values and practices are applied.
Some pre-workshop tasks are required which will be sent electronically approximately two weeks prior to the actual workshop date.
Course information, dates and venues, and registrations for upcoming workshops are now available.
